P.G Dual Density Polypropylene Cartridges are composed of bacteria resistant pure polypropylene fibers in wound design on a polypropylene core.
The advanced design combines selective final filtration with appropriate pre-filtration to achieve up to three times the dirt holding capacity of similar size standard cartridges and many times that of standard string or spun wound cartridges.
Both the pre and post filter components of P.G Dual Density Polypropylene yarn Cartridges are separate gradient density filters. Larger particles which would blind off ordinary surface filters are trapped at outer layers, while the inner layers reduce the finer particles. This design maximizes the utilization of the filtration media.
Separate gradient density in two layers enhances the cartridge performance. The larger diameter of the pre-filter reduces the particle load to the post-filter and allows it to operate at higher velocities.
P.G Dual Density Polypropylene Yarn cartridges provide very high particulate reduction efficiencies and added load bearing capabilities.
